Sound a little tiring?
While you won’t see our staff breaking into a sweat running around the factory floor (and we think WH&S would have something to say about that), our machines are certainly hard at it!
Lean Operations. Design Flexibility. Supply Chain Integration. Lights-out Manufacturing.
Just a few of the terms that we use to define the concept of ‘agility’ and what we seek to achieve as a business.
At FORM2000, we’ve experienced significant business transformation on our path to becoming a more ‘agile’ supply chain partner.
We’ve invested heavily in the sheet metal manufacturing infrastructure (people, machine automation and technology) required to deliver productivity benefits over the long haul (‘the marathon’); whilst ensuring flexibility to meet the demands of today’s rapid-scale and changing manufacturing landscape (‘the quickstep’).
Our automated sheet metal technology enables us to run a lean operation through optimizing manufacturing capacity, providing incomparable flexibility to run both volume and high-mix production orders, short runs, small and large components of varying complexity.
Our design modeling software and automated technology provides the flexibility to test production buildability of sheet metal components, undertaking rapid design profiling and prototyping; to respond quickly to fulfil urgent high-volume orders and to meet challenging deadlines. We operate 24/7 as a complete lights-out sheet metal manufacturing factory.
“We can load-up a machine with raw material. Start it up. Go home for the night and come back next morning and it has completed the process,” says FORM2000 General Manager, Simon Mollison.
As a collaborative supply chain member, we seek to capitalise on production synergies, offering services from individual sheet metal component manufacture to a fully outsourced solution.
We’ve embraced Agility….and we’re running with it!
